Privacy Policy
This page explains what data 4conv needs, how uploaded files are used, how long results are stored, and how to contact us about data questions.
What data we receive
During registration, we store your name, email, protected password, and selected plan. During conversion, the service receives uploaded files, task metadata, processing status, file sizes, conversion results, IP address, and browser data needed for security and abuse prevention.
How files are used
Files are used only to perform the selected operation: conversion, merging, compression, or splitting. We do not use uploaded files to train models, publish them, or share them with third parties except for technical processing within the service infrastructure.
Result storage period
Result availability depends on the plan and is shown on the limits page. After the storage period expires, source files and results are removed by automated cleanup. For registered users, a task record may remain in history without access to deleted files.
Account and history
An account increases limits and enables conversion history. Users can update their name, email, and password in the profile. To request account or related data deletion, send a request through the contact form.
Contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, we use your name, email, and message text to process the request and reply when needed.
Cookies, ads, and analytics
The service may use cookies, ad placements, and analytics tools, including Yandex Metrika. They help support free access, measure visits, improve the interface, and prevent abuse. Cookie controls depend on your browser settings.
Security
We use technical limits, temporary file storage, account authorization, and automated result cleanup. Users are responsible for having the right to upload and process selected files.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated as the service evolves. The current version is always published on this page.
